Typing along earlier today to a friend on facebook, I wanted to tell him that I had never been out of the country. Which, of course, is what I thought I had typed, until I reread the sentence.
I’ve not been out of the country.
What the $%#@! Who talks like that anymore?! Is it a typo?! It can’t be! My mind thinks “never” and my fingers write “not,” and the letters aren’t even near each other!
It’s all downhill from here.
