Spam as an ego-booster.

Well, Crispy Quips has been around for a while now (with over 7,000 quippers), and so my Spam box can get pretty full. I realized the other day, however, that some Spam can be very helpful in building up one’s ego.

For example, a personal favorite of mine:

Great job. May I ask you to visit my pages and tell me your opinion?

Of course, that sentence is followed by a link to some explicit page. But still, I can glance at it and imagine that someone actually wants my opinion.

But they get much better than that.

My favorites (which normally list email addresses from the .ru domain in Russia) are Spam comments that contain many nice ego-boosting phrases separated by pornographic links. And, of course, the best part is the… how shall I say it… inventive grammar.

Here’s what I mean:

Ah yes, my service. No problem comrade.
